Your pictures always brings back memories. I probably would have to learn how to mill again and even then I probably could not handle it but it is a happy thought. One of the fellas I used to work with (back in the 50's!) is presently working across the road from me and we've been having some happy times.

    Thank you.

Went to a township meeting last evening but did not stay for the whole thing. I think most of it was just wasted time.

    Good morning, members.

Increasingly humid day today. Showers this morning and again this evening. Highs near 80⁰.

Had a busy, but relaxing (huh?) day, yesterday. We went out for a simple New England meal of clam chowder and clam cakes/fritters. Washed down with a Sam Adam's Summer Ale.

A good day to chop up fruit for a fruit salad. We're headed to the coast tomorrow, to my cousin's beach house.

    A bit of this-n-that today.

    Good morning y'all.

    76/96 humid.

Pine sawdust production planned again today......we've got about 200 dinky 8' & 10' logs remaining.

Yesterday we cut the last of the longer stuff. IMG_20230803_062909.jpg IMG_20230803_094222.jpg

    Y'all have a blessed day!

Morning all. Beautiful day in the offing here. Lots of big boats anchored out in the bay this week. One night it was 27. The bigger boats anchor out as our marinas are full. Lots of boat activity.

I realize that I haven't been posting much in the mornings. We started walking again first thing. It is suppose to help with my knee problem and weight problem. We will see. Shadow thinks it is great.

We were busy this week with getting the RV ready to roll for two weeks. It has been two years since we had it on the road. Unfortunately campinspecter did something to his back so we had to cancel.
Now I will have time to fix the cover on the RV. Our winter winds have worn away the front of the cover so I have a big hole to cover. I think I kept the old cover from the previous RV so I should be able to come up with enough material to do the job. If not, I have an old sail from our sailboat that will do the job.

There is always something on the go around here. It has been a busy summer.

    Everyone have a great day.

There's an app out there called "Marine Traffic". It'll show you names of boats/ships in the area.

That's a screenshot of the Cape Cod Canal.

A tap on the icons displays info.

Good morning! 79F and sunny, warm for the next couple of days. No firewood activity this week. Everything needs to be fixed at the moment (splitter, Gator, pool, van) so that's taking my time. Hopefully I can knock out a few things today. Have a God day!

I hadn't heard of that app. I use Live Ships on my desktop. We get a lot of cruise ships going by in the summer and a lot of larger yachts. Sometimes there is info and others are pretty secretive.

Oh, too funny. I went to google my Live Ships and I have been using Marine Traffic all along. I think the old name of the app was Live Ships.
We have an 100 ft. sailboat anchored out right now. It is part of an outward bound program for teens. Teaching them sailing among other things.

Good morning, y'all. 79° now, forecast to 93, with possible thunder storms after lunch. Another 7AM-7PM kind of day. Hope to get some woodyard therapy this evening. Got a line on a few smaller oaks close to work. Pick them up Monday...

Morning all. Foggy morning but I am sure it will burn off. Sprinkles of rain are predicted and for parts of our province, it is desperately needed.

Simon the magician was intrigued with the message Phillip was preaching in Samaria. He joined the crowds as they listened to the message and he was baptized along with others. When Peter and John arrived and started to baptize with the Holy Spirit, Simon desperately wanted to do that too. He offered money to pay for the ability to do what they are doing.
Simon still had an unconverted heart and didn't fully understand the power Christ has to change a person's heart. I pray each of us has experience the new birth in Christ.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17

    Happy Sabbath everyone

    Good morning, members.

Nice day ahead. 80's with low-ish humidity.

We had a nice relaxing day yesterday. A little traffic backup here and there.

It was a clear sunny day until the fog rolled in, mid afternoon.

It brought cool dampness with it.

No real plans for today, aside from a morning walk.

Rain about to move in here. We don't need it.
