    He asked me that same question....he thought maybe used motor oil.
    I really don't know, but I figure oil would be better than nothing.
    I told him some folks use tar like is applied to basement walls for water proofing.

    I get the question frequently, but I really don't know what to tell people to use.

    We treated some oak trailer decking boards years ago, it was sawn in Jan, waited until July-Aug, painted several coats of used oil and diesel. Probably lasted 20 yrs or more, in the weather

    20+ years outside is certainly nothing to complain about.
    Though I don't suppose a fence post would do as well on account of it's being in contact with the ground.

    Another nice day ahead. Low 80s, with seasonable humidity.
    Bright moon shining now.

    I'll pick some blueberries this morning, as soon as the sun comes up. I get about 1.5 measuring cup, every other day. Freezing extra. We had blueberry pancakes yesterday afternoon. With bacon and maple syrup.

    I'll be taking dad to the cardiologist, later this morning. Scheduled appt.

    Some grocery shopping while I'm out.

    Mrs MikeInMa and I, will probably head out to eat at some point.

    Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. 74° this morning, probably be hot again. We had a safe round trip to FLA. Got back about 10:30 last night.
    Now get to spend my last day off...:headbang:...unloading truck and trailer..:zip::zip:..
    but my SIL will now have her own place:thumbs:...
    Maybe I can get some wood therapy this evening.
