Not the prettiest stacks but got the last of it on the row.
Woodsheds have been full since June.
I have a couple of trees I wanted to take down in the woodlot but I’m gonna wait and see what the Winter winds do.
Will get over to the neighbor’s to cut some more but certainly no rush.
Just got a couple of saws I want to run.

Looks good to me, that area seems like it gets good sun and wind.

Not bad in the Summer. 9 months of wind and rain the rest of the year.

Nice. I like the chair out by your stack so you can sit and admire your hard work!

I used to make an effort to cover it but with the wind it still gets wet so I don’t bother anymore. Same with pallets to get it off the ground, they rot so fast here it’s not worth the effort.
My dad tried completely enclosing a pile with plastic and it rotted worse than if it’s out in the open.
I’d be more aggressive about protecting it if I had a shortage of wood but it’s a pretty endless supply here.

With the little splitter I can split everything while sitting in the chair. Saves on the back.
