Received belts today for the chipper. All good to go if this temperature breaks.

I ordered these from the manufacturer. 20 bucks X 4 belts, and 17 for shipping a small box. Is there a code to this belt where I may be able to get replacement at O’Reilly, with a description of size , width, type?

Price on the belt may be fair, but shipping can be saved.

"B" is indicator for section width...5/8" 53 has to do with the length, but the OD of that belt is not 53", it is 56". The 'X' designation typically means that it will be a 'cogged' belt, allowing for smaller pulley diameters to be used in application via tighter bend radius.

Any 'B' section belt with a 56" O.D. will technically fit. There are many grades and qualities of V belts out there.

I'm not really sure what all that BX1346Li is about, but instantly recognize "BX53".

Also the belt can be ordered as "banded".
You said that you purchased 4 belts so if you order a # 4bx53 all 4 belts will be together as 1 single belt 4 grooves wide.

Thanks all, I have a unique ATVwith @ PTO unit, and between the vehicle and the two mower units for it, you have to learn the tricks to find the same belts away from th3 dealer.

    In addition…

unless you buy a “banded belt”, at least order it as a “matched set”

yes, it’s important to order as a “matched set”

I second this. Yes, in an "emergency" I'd just throw 3, 4, 5 belts on a drive and send it. But if you are giving any thought to the maintenance and long-term reliability, matched set or banded belt is the way.
