    That tree fell down in April & it’s been laying until I bucked it up last week. First time I have fired a saw since April or May.

    Last week wasn’t too bad mid-upper 80’s low humidity, today was about 82* & 70% humidity smokey, hazy overcast.

    I may try to start doing some cutting next month after we get done with hay & I get done spraying pastures.

    Trailer load of oak. Another load like this again this week. It's a shame the closest one has shake separation, going to be firewood now. 10 ft long with an inch or two to spare between the finders.

    Typical red center rot. I'm guessing the seasoning on that loin was large black ants?

    That’s a hollow white oak. The red is far left. Seasoned on the stump.

    Unusual to see a white hollow. Mostly seen on reds around here. Only once i recall seeing it on a white.
