Neighbor called and asked if I wanted this tree. Was dead up top but some good wood in the trunk , other than smelling like wide open butt it was worth the 2 hours of sweating ! 487F999C-D5C1-42D5-81A6-456A9E3F8BE3.jpeg 4E0AC636-3D09-4986-9E21-D5B99FB1408A.jpeg 8B5EBF78-CCF9-4CCF-B983-5FB7D943FDA3.jpeg F26C4A8D-BDB8-420F-AB55-4AD2A623304B.jpeg

It will burn and give you heat. Smell is strong but not bad.

WOW! Thats a lotta oak there. Great neighbor and great score.

Yeah pin oak is some stinky stuff. Always thought it smelled like manure. Cut one down back in March.

That's a lot of wood for a free score! Does the smell go down over time as the splits season?

Messiest tree you can have! We, have one across the street from us, it drops leaves almost through the year. If you ask, the owner will probably tell you why they cut it down, good score for firewood though! Here’s the neighbor’s tree. If they ever have it cut down, I wouldn’t turn it down for firewood btu’s are btu’s! They have a fireplace, so, I’m sure they’d burn it up
