    Morning all. We had rain yesterday in sporadic bursts which didn't start until the afternoon. This morning dawned really nice so I wonder if we will get the same as yesterday. Not enough rain to really do anything. Everything is so dry here.
    Today will be odds and ends. campinspecter has a few projects lined up for us this week. We have to replace the lower siding on the deck side of the house. I think we are planning to lower the deck, replace the siding and raise it back up. I think that is the latest plan. We will see how it goes.

    No break from the humidity. More today. Highs in mid- 80's with smoky haze. Slight chance of an afternoon shower.

    Dentist appointment this morning. Regular maintenance.

    Grocery store run, while I'm out.

    Ran into a deal on lobsters yesterday. $5.99/lb. Looking forward to lunch.

    Nice outside with 54 degrees. Looks like we may have a repeat of yesterday which was a great day.

    Yesterday a friend started moving in some equipment for some cutting on a neighbor's property. Here are some pictures from when he did some on our place.

    We also did some talking about old times when he and I were working at a sawmill. Many, many moons ago.

    Morning all. Yesterday was a mix of rain and sunshine. I think today is more of the same. Almost got my second quilt finished. I had it to the quilting stage and left it for the baby quilt. Just need to put the binding on this one. Got some book work done yesterday as well. Productive day.
    I think it will be more of the same today.

    We lost power in a nasty windstorm / thunderstorm yesterday afternoon, so I'm not sure what we'll get accomplished today.

    Still no power....hopefully the generator holds together till it comes back on.

    No definite plan again today, will try to get something useful accomplished.

    Morning all. Morning dawned with sunshine. Yesterday the overcast lasted until noon and then the sun came out. No wind so it was quite warm. I have a feeling today will be quite warm as well.

    Visited with Mom yesterday. She is doing well. She has me working on a photo digitalization project for the library/museum that she is the Librarian/Curator for. It is a collection of photos from the 40s and 50s of the town I grew up in. This has really been re-visiting my childhood as familiar faces and buildings keep showing up in the photos. We hope to have online access to the collection by February in time for the 65th anniversary of the library/museum. It has been a very interesting project.

    I hope to get into the sewing room today although we have a deck to move and stuff to move out of the way first. Could be a busy day.

    Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. 75° when I left early this morning, heading for upper 90's, at least. Another 7AM-7PM shift. We did get the tote finished, logs unloaded and sharp blades put on the mower. We have the big yard to cut this evening, hope to get all the mowing done, probably have to do the trimming tomorrow.
    Remember the GOLDEN RULE...
