Fair enough. I've always just gone with my personal sales in the past.

So each year I measure the lengths of my split piles and figure my total from there. Last year I believe the total length was around 800 feet and as of now I’m at 915 feet. 350 is a realistic number…

I meant to ask the other day Joe, how is the bruised leg healing up?

That’s incredible! Is there a certain process you can credit with your increase each year? More logs being dropped off? More consistent help splitting? More time working out there? Love seeing those rows of firewood, and totally blown away that you can move most of it each season on evenings and weekends with one dump truck! My hat is once again off to you:salute:

Just a memory. It hurt for about 2.5 weeks.

I have a crew of kids that are all friends and are between their freshman and sophomore year of college. They all worked during every break from school so I got way more done in the winter and early spring than I ever have. I usually try to not do a whole lot in January and February but they wanted to work so I just kept on cutting.

Do you do much splitting yourself?

The past two years I haven’t split a whole lot myself. My main focus has been making sure there’s always wood cut for both machines and then keeping things tidy - shot pieces in bins, long pieces stacked neatly on pallets, junk wood for the wood boiler in their bins, straightening up piles of splits, etc.

What kind of bins do you use?
