Any of you fellas that have patience & like to tinker interested in a Prometheus lighter ? I don’t want anything for it. I believe I am out of my warranty window & I don’t want to duck around with sending it in. It will come with the case, manual it came with & a small sheath. It would light sporadically so I torn into it & quickly lost my patience as stuff started falling out. I have no idea where the copper piece fell out of & the tube goes over the igniter wire.
I liked it, I bought it in a sampler pack then got two more shorter ones from cigar & pipes in a “smoke along pack” for Bryan Glynn. The burn was great, ash held on in thirds & had good flavor to me.
Taking the hounds out for a ride & I am going to have this one while they run around & collect ticks.
I hope you liked it. I always trim those chisel bit ends but I have seen a few folks just pinch them to open it up but I get a better draw by trimming it a bit.
I probably should have used the v cutter on it but I got a fairly easy draw any way. I greatly enjoyed it.
Do you like those ? I thought mine last night had some mild spice but couldn’t quite place the flavor, it also had an occasional mild sweetness to it. They have been resting for about a year.
I was having issues with staying lit... but I was also mowing grass... Really didn't pay much attention to the flavor... I'll sit down one of these nights and check it out... They have only been in the cooler for about a month and half...
