That makes more sense. And I guess since silt is natural to be in the ecosystem they have evolved to deal with a certain amount suspended in the water.
Well , errrr , ah? FYI Vancouver is kinda in Canada , British Columbia LOL Vancouver Island is not far from southeastern Alaska though.
I thought they were alaska as well? I see picsthey post that look like that part of the world. I am on my phone 99.99% of the time and you dont see signature lines or locations or post count unless you turn it sideways. Just an error I dont really think vancouver B.C. is in Alaska
You're forgiven. When I see the winter posts from Alaska and New England, I am glad to live where I do!!!
Being here in the south...born and raised here in SC and really never been anywhere Iwish we had harder winters with more snow.
Just trying to keep the peace between us & our Canadian neighbors & friends. I don't think Vancouver Island gets cold enough to freeze over the rivers & creeks. They are more like Seattle weather in the winter, rain & mid 30°s to mid 40°s fahrenheit Kinda a "Pineapple climate" compared to "Real Alaska " LOL
soggy "Pineapple climate" although we have had a very dry, wonderful summer so far. No rain, no wind, no fog to speak of and Campinspecter is getting all the laundry dry outside. Whoops - I think we just hijacked Swags' thread.
Come on up to Michigan in mid January. You'll probably run, not walk to the airport to get back home. In a warped sort of way, I'm kinda looking forward to another snowy winter.
Winter isn't all that bad here, but it's all I've ever known. I'll take cold and snow over the 105 degree heat I experienced in Atlanta in June of 2012. But then again, it hit 104 here the next week when I got back home. One things for sure, we get variety here.
Hardest part is the dang boat moving around and making the saw pinch. The roostertail of water is cool though!
The best part is the memories..... The golf course owner to this day, might not remember my name (after 7 years, lol) but instantly remembers the crazy SOB standing on a log in the middle of the creek cutting trees free from the bridges.....
