People around here had their parties on Sunday and Monday because many had to work on Wednesday.

And we pay $10-$50 billion a year on oil and gas subsidies.

If the people in charge of regulating corporate welfare didn’t profit from it, we would’ve done away with it a long time ago ;)

I think that is why JB was so anxious to get involved in the Ukraine war

A rather paltry sum when compared to how much money the government makes off the oil and gas industry. The government profits a lot more than the oil companies do. Nice racket when you can get it.

It’s always our money. No matter where it comes from it’s always our money. Including the 400 billion I referred to on a technology that could be developed elsewhere. I’m no scientist but hydrogen is an extremely volatile substance and expensive to produce. If the day ever comes it can be harnessed safely that technology will be gladly shared with the world. It will be our money that gets it there, not anyone else’s. That’s my point.

Odd how some people complain about gas and oil subsidies but never mention all the wind and solar and EV and on and on and on subsidies. Guess it only matters if you agree or disagree with what agendas you follow, if you get what I’m saying.

I brought up oil and gas because only hydrogen was brought up. I’m against the government subsidizing any big corporation. And I get exactly what you’re saying…only alternative fuel subsidies are brought up by certain people here so I like to bring them all up.

I'm just going to leave this here... I will add that the role of government should be to do what the private industry can't, won't, or shouldn't do. If they are, they're lining their pockets at your expense. Enjoy.

Sorry, it is not the government... it's your neighbor: ethanol mandates and my favorite bio-diesel. Converting food to fuel is always a loser since people will always eat before they drive...

For anybody that wants to understand the true nature of the apparatus, I encourage you to look into the Church Committee, Project MKUltra, and the ongoing Operation Mockingbird, to name a few. In the age of information, remaining uninformed is a choice.
