Kvymn. Curious how those front shoulders (butts) turned out. Did they pull easy, or did you slice them?
Every thing just pulled so nicely... It all pretty much tasted like pulled pork butt... will make some good sandwiches this week...
We had a great 4th with family. 1st up on the Pit Boss was ribs. Used this on left side... Center ribs... And Killer Hogs AP rub on the right side. Finished the bottle on them, no pic. I believe they are tender... Next up was some wonderful Roll's Meat Market Autumn Apple Sausages Smoked with a blend of plum and hickory, great taste and color
Is that the sausage from the place near Joe's GTG. I use that killer hogs rub also. Looks great Jeff.
I did two Boston Butts for 4th with total weight of them just under 18 lbs. Yoder smoker did its thing for a little over 8 hours and 14 of us ate our fill. There was still some left over so we will enjoy some more this week! Smoked with apple wood and some hardwood lump charcoal occasionally to keep temperatures between 225 and 250. The family was complementary so must have been OK Sorry no pictures, y’all will just have to trust me!
I bought a bullet I could take on vacation with me. Smoked a brisket yesterday that turned out tasty!
