You mustve got temperature shock. Ill take the 40*...no rain though. I was splitting for a couple hours yesterday. Bearable with clouds, but the few times the sun came out...forget it. Any cool trees seen in Iceland? ANY trees seen in Iceland?
40 is nice. 40 with rain is bad and 40 with sideways rain is terrible! I doubt there are any members here from Iceland. The country is almost devoid of trees and what they do have isn’t big.
I've always thought it is weird that they named the colder country Greenland, and the warmer country Iceland...
Almost done using the tw6 to finish off the mixed hardwood pile and have cut some larger oak for when it’s time to move the tw6. I have plenty of Goldilocks size oak staged for the the Iron & Oak. Almost out of logs again.
The tree guys have slacked some but I had more help in the winter and spring so my stockpile of splits is much larger which in turn has my log supply lower than usual.
Haha. Not immune but I can easily get 4-6 hours each day in most conditions. Lots of water and multiple shirts certainly helps!
Tree guy came through yesterday afternoon. Mix of oak, ash, silver maple, a little tulip poplar and a piece of cherry. Edit: pictures wouldn’t upload earlier but are here now
