Smoke really rolled in early this afternoon at the NJ Shore. Sent mine drone up and took pics at 150' and 400' this afternoon.

This drone is awesome. It maxes out at 400’ automatically due to FAA rules.

I'm not sure if the first picture was one day or two of rainfall but the last two are what we received yesterday, once we had a break in the rain yesterday, I took a picture (0662) and the last picture was taken this morning.

I never emptied the rain gauge so the rain in the gauge in the second picture happened while we were eating supper and the rest last night.

We needed it but a nice steady rain would be better.

Yep. One touched down a couple miles from us, near the naval facility that manufactures everything that goes boom for the military. Power was out for a few hours. All good.

trees down on the other end of my county as well. No casualties that I am aware of.

NOAA had predicted 1 to 2 inches of rain for our area before the rains started, overnight we received half an inch of the wet stuff for a total of 1 inch so far.

We have another air quality alert on which is suppose to last until 12 tonight.

That northern national park needs to get their poop in a group and get them fires under control.

even we’ve got an AQA the rest of the week in central Minnesota.

We're about to get hit with some heavy rain, hopefully that's it, the bowling game isn't the loudest I've heard but someone is knocking those pins down pretty good.

We received some pretty good rains with thunder but so far the worst has stayed northwest of us.

Bad storms again Thursday night. My club had set up our 20x40 canopy for our roasting ear operation at the county fair. Storm tore up middle and north side of the county this time. Our canopy was ripped apart, but the framework was only scattered about. New one coming Sunday.

Several folks out of power until Sunday at the earliest. No injuries again, thankfully.

storming this morning and back at it again.

They say it could go on until the first snow hits the ground in that area, that was on AccuWeather.

I’ve been seeing some instagram and YouTube videos of people saying the government has abandoned them.

I personally don’t have cable or a news source I trust other than the internet. I gave up on it being about ratings or partisan journalism decades ago.

They made some decisions that important infrastructure would be saved and certain towns wouldn't, people stayed and fought the fire, I haven't followed it since.

Canadian border VT , are you in for some heavy rains again today? The last map I saw for them had us on the edge.

Anyone else here in the east in for the heavy rains?

We have 87 percent humidity with a dewpoint of 69 but that reading comes from the Massena Airport for our area.

It sounds like you might be helping out with those driveways again, stay safe. I'm reading that some of these storms could have some high wind gust.
