    98% sawlogs.
A lot of it was actually pretty kinky, but we tried to cut most of that out.
I don't have any orders currently, so we bucked the logs for the nicest straight logs possible, anywhere from 8' to 20'.
I'm planning to try and sell most of the oak lumber because that's plentiful around here, the pine I figured we'd just cut whatever the logs "want" to be made into, that way we'll get the best quality lumber.
When I have an order for some specific dimension I have to cut, I frequently have to sacrifice quality for quantity.... this time I'm going to do it the other way around.

Gotta have it, the tractor is pretty much worthless without ballast.
I'd really like to replace the basket a skidding winch in the near future.

    For sure.
I have a small sub compact with a grapple.
I put a box on mine and put 350lbs of lead plates in the bottom and still plenty of room in the box for chains and other odds and ends.
Total weight probably around 500 lbs.

It is like night and day with the additional weight ; no more backwards wheelies.

Been too busy lately making sawdust to post pictures of what's up....

Cut up most of the cedar we got from the neighbors earlier this year...... IMG_20230507_071105.jpg IMG_20230512_153827.jpg

Then we started a pole building for the bil...... I've got all the oak beams cut, but still need to saw the rafters outta some of the pine we salvaged. IMG_20230516_184407.jpg
