    Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. 73° with 73 DP. Lovely...
    Taking the equipment over to a friend's house to help them clean up a tree that fell while we were on vacation. We'll get a little wood from the limbs, the trunk is hollow, old water oak. He's retired, and is now a Baptist preacher at a small country church.
    We will probably split and stack more oak when we get back.

    Had a bit more rain yesterday. Now they have taken some of the rain out of forecast and put haze in for a couple days. Not too surprising with the north and NW wind.

    Good morning! 60F and hazy/misty, still cooler today. Last night I grabbed some older cottonwood rounds and set the splitter up in the barn. It was looking like rain coming in and luckily I made the right decision. Split that and about 6 rounds of hickory I had in the truck. Got everything stacked and cleaned up between showers. Picking up a load of split mixed hardwoods from a new (to me) supplier. Anxious to see what his product looks like. If it's good, I'll get a lot more. Then girls summer league basketball tonight. Have a God day!

    Rain this morning. 70's today and humid.

    Cleaning of the woodstove and chimney went well yesterday. I'll be putting it back together today. After soaking the cat, I wanted it to dry off overnight.

    morning all. 53 and raining here. big build up of smoke headed this way also. my laptop blew up last night so it is off to town shopping for a replacement. typing on this i phone is for the birds with my fat fingers. everybody have a great day and stay safe

    72/98 rained a little bit over night, going to be muggy today

    Sawdust production is planned for today.

    Our cows escaped Monday evening without leaving a trace as to where they'd gone, then yesterday afternoon a neighbor called and said my cows were on the highway! fortunately they were ready to come home, so it wasn't too difficult to walk them back..... going to have to lock them in the barn for a while, hopefully they will repent and change their ways.....silly cows...
