    Got the Alder log cut. Shindaiwa 577 was running rich but I left the screwdriver at home.

    Sound like old time saws. Just curious...do those saws have chain brakes? What year are they from?

    Not sure of the year, but the Shindaiwa saws have brakes on them. People must be rough with them as I’ve seen quite a few of them with the brake handle busted off.

    Why most saws now have two points of attachment for the brake flag.
