We just buy a Mr. Coffee 12 cup, I'm not sure what or if anything was wrong with the old one but it's the backup.

See, that's the problem. That is one of those hi-flutin expensive fancy ones. I stick with the $17 specials and rarely have a problem.
I did, thank you. It's not rocket science though, has to be a simple fix. Maybe I'll tinker with the reservoir spring to feed the water again later. Only other possibility I can think of is the heating tubes being clogged (I don't have hard water), or the buttons are broke. It slides back if I press the button hard enough to turn on so I've been gripping with my fingers and using my thumb nail....
I bought a Keurig about three year ago just so I could brew a cup at night, the wife doesn't like it so maybe we'll buy a smaller type like Mr. Coffee.
The Quebec wildfire smoke is back. It was gone for a week or so but moved back in big time in the last couple hours.
I'm not having that tonight but we usually that's our Thanksgiving meal, the start of the festive season when the pounds start attaching to the old frame. For supper tonight was another wrap with lettuce, pepperoncini's, roasted red peppers with some salami. Usually Sunday nights are our ice cream night, we'll see if it will be a big bowl or a smaller bowl. I have plenty of time for me to hit 195 so I'm thinking a big bowl.
The smoke has gotten worse here too, a huge difference from when I was out around 4. Started down the driveway with the dog and about halfway down the thunder started so she wanted inside the house, she's in her safe place. She did get some ice cream and I had a big bowl too.
