savemoney We usually always eat good but first a little weight loss and then we'll have some nice meals. My wife is a great cook so we miss the meals but also understand that if you keep eating big meals or two plates ( two plates, that's me) it isn't great for you. I'm also giving myself some room because buZZsaw BRAD said the bradkini is the official cutting gear of the CGT. Sean Connery rocked it way before Brad. [/QUOTE]
I bought one of those soot eaters (finally) to be used on the single wall pipe hook up to the masonry chimney a couple weeks ago. Next step will be to unbox it. Then, at some point, disconnect the stove pipes and put it to use. As you can tell, I'm in no hurry!
Check your box soon, I had one rod that had a faulty male end on it, it fell out of the rod when I finally took it out of the plastic. Make sure your male/female connections are good too before putting it in the pipe, I had one come loose even though I double checked it so that rod is sitting in the garage by itself. Getting them apart can be a b--ch too but they do a great job. How's the back today?
Helped my dad with replacing a 240V shop light. Neither of us are electricians but nobody was seriously injured, so that's nice. About to go mow the fruit orchard and check on the "Atlantic Giant" pumpkins my 7 year old daughter and I planted. Hopefully have some 1000# pumpkins in the fall...never tried this before though.
Unfortunately no. It is the same hall as a Bradley fighting vehicle, which I was a mechanic on for 15 years.
Back was good; thanks for asking. Hit the pile and splitter for awhile. Just about done with it. Pics will follow-at some point-promise!
I tried apple moonshine with lemonade last night. It was a good sleeping pill. I had a craving for a taco pizza (add jalapeños) all week. I called the wife an hour out and I followed the pizza delivery guy from town to the house. Wednesday morning at 5 am I left savanna GA went to starke FL to Tulsa OK to ft McCoy WI to Watertown SD to Minneapolis by 8 pm Saturday 2630 miles in four days. Pardon me if I catzzzzzzzz…..
The scales said 200.6 this morning on my 65th day, the chicken with a hot tomato salad tomorrow for supper will taste good. 195 is my next goal, that will be 32.2 pounds lost from what I started at. I'm not sure that I want to go below 195 but we'll see how I feel, the most I ever lost was 30.
New coffee maker won't brew this morning. Ugg, it's only 6 months old. The water just sits in the reservoir. The spring feeder on the reservoir is clear and moves freely. The post that depresses it also on a spring and moves freely too. I bought a manual pour through carafe for power outages, so tried that out this morning. Lotta' work for a cup of coffee lol. I'll use the camp perk til I get a new coffee maker.
We never buy 1 coffee pot .. always have spare in basement.. me without coffee.. does not lead to happy life or happy women.. it calms me down
I won't due that, at 214 we went out for dinner, maybe this time once I hit 195 we'll have a real nice meal at home. Before I start back up on the firewood work or trail work, I'll need a good meal so maybe some thick Delmonico's with some mashed potatoes. The wife turned down pasta and steaks for tomorrow night, I was going to make the spaghetti sauce today but I'll wait and then see what she wants for a meal, maybe some stuffed peppers or braciole with pasta and sauce. I was telling Backwoods Savage that the thing I want the most to eat (this might sound strange) is a peanut butter sandwich with a cold glass of milk. We stopped buying bread when I went on my weight loss kick but once 195 shows up on the scale, I'm having one.
