Tough couple days here in the Piney house. We had to say goodbye to our 12yr old Ridgeback "macy". Mrs piney got her as a rescue when she was only 14wks old. Yesterday we rushed her to the emergency vet because it seemed that a mass She's had on her neck may have ruptured and started causing swelling around her windpipe. They did an ultrasound and couldn't find any fluid internally that would be causing the swelling and sent us home with some pain meds for her.

This morning the swelling had gotten much worse and she was very uncomfortable so we brought her to our vet and he thought she possibly could've been stung by something and was having an allergic reaction. He wanted to try and give her some steroids just in case that was the issue and had us take her home and monitor the swelling for a few hrs. If it wasn't getting better by this afternoon he said we should bring her back in. Well by 4pm it wasn't getting better and her airway seemed more restricted. We brought her back in and made the decision to put her down. She was a good old dog and were certainly going to miss her. Hug your furry friends tonight.

Sorry you’re not feeling well, hope it goes away soon! You are not exactly in a terribly interesting part of SC either

Before our Sunday supper I weighed 204.2 but on Monday morning I was 206.4. After washing one vehicle twice on Monday, this morning the scale said 203.4, I thought that something was wrong so I stepped on the scale again, 203.4.

I didn't think 200 was a target weight but why not, if I still feel good/strong at 200, I'll go for 195 and that will be it.

Went to my father-in-laws place after work to pick some sweet cherries. His tree is full of em. Got about 2 gallon size zip locks full.

    ...............show off!

I have only dropped to below 220 once day this year! :picard:

Maybe I'm going about this the wrong way. With all of those crazy operations taking place, maybe there is one to have your taste buds removed?:D

201.6 this morning, I had a small sandwich with bread and I'll do that again tonight. I'll cook some spaghetti sauce for Sunday with pasta and maybe a steak or chicken breast from the grill, and then I'll go for 198.

I usually go into the doctor over 220 so hopefully this year is different but you never can tell when that M & M's with a few cold glasses of milk at night will kick in.

Sunday nights ice cream night (only because of the dog ) so I'll put some pounds on.
