    Sadly had to fell this massive oak. Bugs and lightning and however many years took its toll on the ol girl. It was a house killer in the making. Will be a bunch of great firewood in a few years. Looking forward to splitting it this fall. And a rainbow from last night for good measure.

    The firewood from the tree is great....the rainbow is very nice.

    Cool saw. The rainbow is confirmation that you cut it properly. Some days, all these things line up just exactly right.

    Kinda sad to see a big tree come down but smart move on your part taking it down. Nice job done with the 311. :thumbs:

    Maybe the pot of gold was inside the oak? Maybe the oak itself?

    Not sure if it is worth as much as gold but to me it is pretty darn close.
    I didn’t use the 311 for the actual felling. Borrowed a 660 with a 3’ bar, made life a little easier. 311 feels light after running that 660 for any amount of time.
