    A misty day ahead after 2 inches of rain yesterday afternoon. Temps in the low 50's and overcast. We had the AC on yesterday. Possible wood stove today.

    We'll go visit my folks for a bit.

    Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a SUPER SATURDAY. 64°, heading to 89°. First night of work done, supposed to go pick up a recliner for our daughter, maybe stack some oak before nap time.

    Had loons calling, an eagle, and an osprey fishing nearby me.

    Morning all. We were supposed to get rain last night but I don't think it happened. Cloudy and sunny out today. No wind so far. Really low tide out there right now so I guess we will see a really high in about 6 hours.

    The eleven disciples felt that Jesus had chosen twelve for a reason so they all prayed together and God chose Matthias to join them. Matthias had been with the eleven from when Jesus was baptized until he ascended into heaven. Each of us have been chosen by God and if we accept his grace and love, we are asked to serve and teach as the disciples were.

    19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28: 19, 20

    Good morning! 82F and sunny. Not much wind. I got home from work last night to find most of my smoking woods in the roadside stand had sold so I refilled those and made some campfire bundles as well. I just came in from cutting some maple and cottonwood. Then touched up the lawn with the string trimmer. Then split the last of the cherry. Next up I need to build a new rack and split some oak to fill it. Then I think it will be time for a shower and nap. Have a God day!

    I lit off the wood stove. 65⁰ inside and climbing.

    It looks like the hot spell has finally broken. :thumbs: 78 forecast for today.

    Yesterday a fire broke out near Grayling and burned over 2,000 acres. That area is mostly forest land. We started seeing some haze from it last evening and forecast to get more today through tomorrow. No doubt the cooler air is welcomed by those fighting the fire.

    We've had smoke in the air from fires in Nova Scotia. We could smell and see the haze.

    Morning all. Sunny today. Headed for a warmer week I think. Small rain cells wander through off and on. Typical spring/summer weather. Bookkeeping today, maybe some baseball watching and definitely some sewing room work. At least we have electricity this weekend. I should be out in the garden taming the wilderness but I have other priorities unfortunately.

    Went to graduation party for neighbor's twin boys. Turned out well.

    This morning the sky looks like smoke. I was hoping with the wind we've had the smoke would be gone. They say the fire is 90% contained. Somebody's back yard ire got out of hand is what they are reporting that started a 2300 acre woods fire.
