    I frickin love it!!!! The last picture was the one you'd posted before. I'm a "big dog" guy, but if I ever owned "smaller" dogs, it would be English Bulldogs. They just make me smile.

    When I was single digit age, our neighbors a couple houses down had 2 Bulldogs that would chase us on our bikes whenever they were out. Scared the crap out of us back then, but I've always liked that breed.

    Had some Frog Morton in my Savinelli 601 courtesy of Jake over on ope.

    A little back story: Frog Morton has been NLA since McClellan shut down around 10 years ago. I was commenting over on the ope pipe thread how there were a couple blends that were close, but I was going off memory based on a single bowl sample I had been sent years ago. Jake had some in his cellar and was generous enough to offer me up around a half oz.

    the Frog is a nice light all day English blend that has undertones of sweet bread and wood smoke. However, I believe there are better english blends out there, and the hub bub surrounding it is a case of its rarity inflating its reputation. The country squire hunting creek is similar but seems superior to my taste. Still I am grateful to be able to do the comparison. IMG_3005.jpeg

    image.jpg I’ve been watching and reading FHC for several years but never joined. But since I started smoking cigars again I figured it was time to join. I’m running one coolador for normal cigars and one small plastic humidor for infused cigars both overloaded and with more on the way. This CAO is nothing special it has the easiest draw of any cigar I’ve had but it’s the first of that 10 pack. I’ll see if the rest are any different.

    You're going to get me ordering a pipe and going down that rabbit hole. I've never tried smoking tobacco out of a pipe. Lol

    Start here: Missouri Meerschaum Company - CornCobPipe.com

    :whistle::rofl: :lol:

    On a serious note if I can be of any help feel free to shoot me a pm or ask here or in the pipe thread on ope.

    It’s definitely different than a cigar. Takes a little while to navigate the learning curve, but once you do you are rewarded with a highly enjoyable experience and hobby. Pipe tobacco is a little easier to store (basically as is in mason jars) and generally less expensive for high quality tobacco but it requires a bit more effort initially.

    Lol Thanks man. I just joined in on that thread on OPE. All I know about pipe tobacco is, my Grandpa smoked it and it smelled absolutely amazing, and my cousin rolls it into cigarettes. That's about it.

    I read through that thread and subbed to the channel you mentioned on OPE.

    Up by “Twister Hill”, I rode that route on RAGBRAI a few years ago.

    My son & his family live in Boone, I am headed up that way Thursday for a t-ball game. We are planning on having some chow at “The Lucky Pig “ in Ogden afterwards.

    Best piece of advice I can give is start with a cheap pipe like a corn cob or Whitlock’s has a nice kit on Amazon.

    Figured I'd give an AJ Fernandez a try this evening. My first one from this manufacturer. Good smoke. Nice flavor, good draw and even burn.

    Most of my Ave Maria’s are going on resting for 1 year & I think they have improved immensely with time. I just about grabbed that cigar tonight but grabbed this one

    That hill isn’t fun in a truck, much less a bicycle.
