Sorry, that load is from 15 January, when an outstanding member got tired of my talking about the lack of hedge in this area. Lefty and I drove out to Iowa to pick it up. Mr. Bear (made up name) PM'ed me back in September about saving a load for me to pick up and I finally got off my lazy ash and made a day trip.
He was so kind by loading Lefty's dump trailer. After loading what was set aside for me, he loaded a few buckets full from his own, non-split, stack. After that he even offered me some split hickory, but I declined due to the amount of work it takes to process, maybe next time. Hopefully it will split out to close to 2 cords so we will see.
After that trip I started to cut on some ash Lefty picked up a couple months ago. Ran two tanks of mix through the 562xp as that was the only saw I grabbed for the day trip. Back was starting to talk to me so called it a day.

Thank you again Mr. Bear, I am in your debt and hope I can repay you for the generosity.

It would definitely make moving rounds easier with the bucket or with a set of forks log moving/stacking would be easy.

They are hard on turf though. I am not familiar enough with the NH LS’s to know if they have auxiliary outlets, the pump capacity or controls to run a grapple or not.

Typical dad. Picked it up a few, maybe 10, years ago and there it sits. Don't think he ever used it. Way to big for here in town.

Got out for a few hours to work on the hedge that JimBear gifted me. Ran the 562xp from Jacob on OPE a few years ago. Didn't get it all loaded but hope to have close to 2/3 cord loaded. Now the fun of moving it to the backyard.:headbang::stacker:

Pickup unloaded. Ended up with two totes, some chunks not shown along with some maple.

Didn't get a ton done this weekend. Saturday started with loosing/donating a pint of blood. After that went out and cut up the rest of the hedge trying hard not to lift too much. Also loaded up two totes and the balance of the hedge that was split last time I was out there. Finally replaced the battery in Bunny's van.
Today was a cookout and I almost got the conduit that has our fiber optic cable buried in the backyard. About 15' to go but want to try and shift the old rocks out so I can try to get grass going. Looks like next weekend is a road trip to parents to take care of the ash limb that dethatched from their tree from a storm that rolled through.

Thought I had all the hedge stacked in 4 overfull totes. But found more that I split but forgotten about today. Guessing it will be 2 full cords once I add the rest. Stacks so far.

Saturday I had a call from Jason, tree fairy, that he was taking down some more trees and had wood available. Declined as I have too much work on as it was. Saturday evening he texted that Edwin took some wood and more available plus it was only a mile from the house. Edwin said the magic word "mulberry" so thought I would check it out and ended up with a small mixed load.
