Is that racing on foot, or racing for a foot?

A relatively healthy snack that I like just about any time is a big spoon full of peanut butter rolled in rolled oats and chocolate chips in a small bowl...if there is enough rolled oats the PB will not stick to the bowl at all...and if it does, meh, lick the bowl. ;) :)

We pack water and zero sugar Powerade for hydration in the GA heat. Usually some cheese/pb crackers and the Nekot crackers for snacks.

Trying to figure out how you would handle that mix , eating it without getting all over your fingers. Sounds all soft and gooey

I make campinspecter a cheese sandwich and add a container of grapes or cherry tomatoes for his firewood ventures. He also likes to take apples and lots of water. Where he is going now to get firewood, it makes it a long time between breakfast and lunch.
