Engine oil and filter change on the L3710 today. Just shy of 100 hrs. I think I'm going to shorten up my oil change interval. What intervals 20230514_161237.jpg are you guys running?

I use Rotella in my Kubota BX also ! I change Engine oil and filter...both fuel filters and hydro filter..and change front axle fluid every 200 hrs. It's sooner than recommended here and there...but I sleep better at night. I work my BX hard ....so clean fluids are a must.
Also...the air filter gets chucked every 100 hours . It gets very dirty..and exhaust color.

The last few days..the poor BX has been switched around..worked hard...and switched around again. Getting all sorts of stuff knocked off the list. Amongst other things....I mowed....

Moved an old stump pile. Took bare stumps to burn pile...smoothed out the remaining dirt and debris ..since i purposely put them in a low spot..so this very day would come true !

Yep, air filters get replaced regularly. However, stay on schedule with the hydraulic fluid and filters, that's >$300 for my tractor and it seems fine when I've replaced it.

Absolutely on hydro. I end up changing hydro fluid every other engine oil change . About (400hrs) .My lil tractor doesn't hold much....its cheap insurance. For anyone that has really worked a Bx for any period of time...knows that the fluid..and surrounding axle..pto shaft etc...get pretty warm . Oil is cheap. Even the Kubota Super UDT2 I use..is way cheaper than any problem I could have internally. It's best to try to avoid problems like that I have found !

I used Rotella T6 in my L3560. I did a break in change at 50hrs, did it again at 200hrs, and will change again at 400. The service interval is 400 for oil, as well as hydro fluid-transmission filter every 200. Air filter every spring as a matter of course.

OK, that sounds better. Kubota generic service schedule is 200 for engine oil and 300 for hydro. Next time I need to change the front diff, I'm thinking of switching to 80-90 gear oil.

I know people who change hydro oil every 1000 hours . One of those machines has 4800 hours . Never a trans problem. So who really knows. I just go by how well I can sleep at night. Works fir most things lol.

I should add that I missed out on a couple of kubotas I was interested in.

    LX 2610 (2) and a B 2601. I just don't move fast enough sometimes!

    Whatever, they make more everyday-right?
