Yeah he’s the buyer. And he’s got a data collector. There was another buyer. He had some headset data collector. Was pretty neat overall. Asked them what the different spray paint colours and markings meant. The other buyer told me where it was going. China, Germany, Vietnam, Japan, etc Pretty fun stuff compared to my desk job.
I would love to be taught about log buying. I know the basics but it'd be so cool to have a buyer talk me through a couple hundred logs in a yard as they evaluated them. Not looking for any career, just find it fascinating.
