    Never seen this before. Found in an old Oregon white oak, down for almost 3 years. About an inch long. Any ideas what this thing is?

    It could be the ash borer. I've found several but this one just looks a bit different.

    Thanks guys. There’s a bunch of these things and the grubs in this wood. The chickens are loving life right now.
