Dave, I hate to tell you, when you finally move north; these deliveries of free firewood to your front yard will stop. I thought this was a joke when I joined up. Up here tree companies stock pile it and keep guys busy in winter and sell firewood..

    Great load delivered!

They have to dump it here! "Law". Thank you a specific group of politicians which I am bound not to say! :zip: Unless they sell it right away and then they have to declare another Income from the tree cutting. :headbang: This is what I was told and (I Don't know this to be factual) But I have 3 Tree cutting guys that all said the same thing. It's actually cheaper for them to dump it. :hair:o_O :picard: Lyle, I'm not worried to much about up there. I can take it slow and at my time. I'm well aware what's Involved, I'm just very Blessed by some of the friends I have and in return, (I) do things for them as well in a different way. When they break stuff, I get a call and weld it up for them. many times it's an Emergency while they are working. I have one friend who is a Scotch drinker and he knows I always get him a Nice $$$ bottle of Scotch at :santa: time! He usually doesn't spend the money :emptywallet: I do on a bottle for him. It's all appreciated in each direction.

Dave I have no doubt you take good care of these guys! It’s just so out of normal up here I was shocked when I learned this was a reality. When I lived in NYC; worst 9 months of my life; space was in such short supply it makes sense for suburbs!

I let neighbors use 5 acres of my land for free for their 2 horses..
    1 they look pretty
2 I don’t have to brush hog the field
3 he’s active duty Army and it’s easier for his wife when deployed

Well, In for a lunch break! I'm a little PI$$ED at my tree guy, he snuck in a "Sweet gum tree" in the mix! :headbang: if any of you have ever split sweet gum, it's the basic characteristics as splitting Elm. :headbang::picard::headbang::hair: I knew something wasn't right when the 35 ton splitter started to squeal and moan...o_Oo_Oo_O Then my choice words started!:zip:   I need a Beer after that, :drunk: and I got some big stuff in there also. I might put these aside, I'm not really interested in that crap! It burns fine, just a P.I.T.A. to work. :picard:

Here's the maiden Voyage of the Buggy, and a couple more trips! I made a dent in the pile, not huge, but a start. Knowing what I know now about the powered wheel Barrow, I should have bought one 10 years ago! :headbang::doh: Seriously, What a back and body saver.
I'm still tired but not in much pain as if I wheeled those loads back. Well, well worth the $$$$ :emptywallet: It takes a bit of getting used to and at middle speed, vibrates like hell when it's empty. As I said, I should have got one of these years back. (live and learn) o_O:doh:
