Got really tired of not doing anything, so I got out yesterday and with my wife's help, got the tractor back from her sister's. She helped me mow the lawn, which was like mowing a jungle.
So today, I went back over the lawn with the deck a little lower to clean up some stuff that was too long to cut well yesterday.
Then.........I hooked the utility trailer up to the tractor and loaded up the Oak I split about 3 weeks ago.
    Not quite 1/3 cord.
I took it out back and parked it while I went in for a sammich and a little break (and a couple IBU). Went back out and this is as far as I got before giving it up for the day.
If the rain holds off, I'll go back out tomorow to do some more. This stuff was starting to get a little moldy, and the stuff at the bottom of the pile was still wet, while the stuff on top already was checking on the ends a bit.

I guess I was a little excited that I got out to do something.:D
Posts are a mix of 3x5 landscapers, Poplar, and Pine. The new runners are Maple branches from a recent take down.
    As usual, Casper "helped".

Looks like a wood hoarder's set up to me :)

Your single row stacks are prime for seasoning wood.
As always, they look like they are "laser straight" :)

I agree. Good to know you are out doing things again Dave. And don't take those chains off the tractor. Not that long before snow flies again.

As usual, nice stacks good looking wood.

BTW, what size tractor is that? It doesn't look like the
size of your typical lawn tractor....

MISHMH, that's a GT1554 CC. It's really no bigger than the LTs. This one has 27HP.
I sometimes can't find Casper, until I look on the other side of a stack.........he's usually laying in the shade when it's hot. Sort of hide and seek.:)
No chance those chains are coming off @Backwoods Savage. The deck will be off soon enough, then the plow will go on.........when I can take a chance on moving either of 'em.
