Working again. Dropped and skidded this down yesterday

 

Maybe part of a tree stand Glad it was visible and avoided

 

Absolutely was. Prior owner has tons of remnants in trees out here. Ash borer got this tree, but I found 2 nails and this bracket prior to dropping.

 

Good thing you saw it before you saw it. Ive cut stuff like that on the blond side of a log and a chain killer for sure. Do you save it for display somewhere?

 

I will after I burn it. I have a rail toad spike somewhere that came out if the stove.

 

That's the side toward the south...sun bleached?
