Doesn't look like an eastern brown rope from the Google photos! I did relocate him to the other side of the ditch where the trailer lives! Lol
Did you try blowing out the fans (make sure it is unplugged and truly dissipated first - otherwise bad things happen - ask me how I know). Reminds me, I need to do that to my computer. That is definitely a tiring list. And I was exhausted after doing just a bit of work in the basement and mowing 2 yards.
I thought about the fans but didn't blow them out......does that count? Thanks, I'll have to do that.
That was my first thought too BB, either the fan needs cleaned, or that he picked up program somewhere that is maxing his processor run at max level and getting hot. yooperdave, how about clear history, defrag, and Win10 has something called "Disc Clean" before spending a bundle on a new one?
yooperdave , when your computer is running hard press CTRL ALT Delete all at once to bring up task master. Sort memory and processor at top row to see if there is something like what we thought might be it. My frequent flier on this is my old laser printer, the print spooler gets stuck or something and makes my computer sound like it's getting ready for take off. I click "end task" in the above, and good to go till next time it happens.
Pre-owned lot a couple blocks from mom's has a nice truck. Grey 2014 F-150 XL RCLB. 87K miles, excellent condition except the windshield is cracked. Didn't realize she was there till after they closed
Here's the thing that sucks about a steady Monday-Friday, 8-5 job. One more place I can't get to on work days. If she's still there next Saturday I might have a chance. I don't have a clue about legal, but few if any lots are open Sunday.
I didn't mention to unplug the dang thing. Also not only blow out the main fan but there is probably a fan over the chip too, so blow that out. Depending on mfg and model, there are probably at least 3 fans, so make sure you get them all. Modern computers generate a lot of heat and those are the only air conditioners your computer has (unless you have a hard core gaming computer that is liquid cooled, which I doubt)
