Not really a fast/drive though food place, but Fudruckers had good burgers. Haven’t seen one still open in several years.
A-W was also one of my favorites for a burger and their root beer. Not sure if there’s any of those left either

We had a fudruckers. Went here once, it was ok. A&W in Canada is still going last I knew. Been 10 years or so since I was in one last. Those are good too.

Just thinking about eating at McDonald's make me cringe..

Right, I know people that'll pay that and then some for fast food multiple times a week. Yet they think I'm crazy if I go out for supper a hand full of times a year and pay $30 for a GOOD prime rib or ribeye dinner.

There's a quite a few around in central WI anyway, just saw another new one going up last weekend. (their root beer in the frosted mugs is great!)

A lot of peoples fast food around here now is grabbing a burger/chicken off the warming rack at Kwik Trip (convenience store/gas station).

A & W is alive and well in our part of the country. For burgers though, I prefer a chain called White Spot. Started in Vancouver, BC and spread to most of the province.

We have two A&W within a 20 minute drive. They still have car hope at both of them. Insurance elminated the skates though

Any of you remember 'baby beers' at A&W? When we were kids, mom and dad would stop in there and my baby sister would get a 'baby beer' and it was free.

When I was a wee little lad I thought it was cool to pick up the phone in the booth inside the restaurant to order the food

So we just got back from our local favorite burger joint, Hamburger Mikey's. I took some pictures. That is the current burger of the month and his food looks like the advertisements. That burger is one of my favorites of his. IMG_20230513_112542720~2.jpg
    Then the awards.....

They have a tally of the amount of potatoes used to make fries since opening, its currently at 170,000 pounds. Lol

This is one of many reasons BK, McD's and pretty much most fast food Burger joints are not even on our radar.

After all these years, I still enjoy a good ol’ McDonald’s cheeseburger. My wife makes an awesome version at home. Amazing how it tastes with some fresh ground beef.

We don’t eat fast food all the much. I do enjoy a good Five Guys burger now and again. I will say In n’ Out makes a darn good burger. Had one of those last time we were in Vegas. Better than a burger I had for dinner on The Strip one night.

I stick to small local spots whenever I can. The last time I grabbed something quick, I ended up feeling like I needed a detox. Now I keep a scoop of goat whey protein in a shaker bottle for the road—way easier on the stomach and doesn’t leave me feeling like I need a nap after. Cheaper in the long run, too.

I ate BK about 8 years ago for the last time. I used to like BK, but this was the absolute worst fast food meal I had ever eaten.
