Got the wood shed ready for Winter. Some punky stuff on the end but some good Fir in the middle. Looks like I’ve got at least two years worth stacked outside and a whole bunch of stuff down ready to cut, split and stack. Power Wagon did well and saved some effort. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Reloader I liked your little video of the power wagon. that is really a neat rig. How do they work on fairly steep slopes?
Honestly not all that great on steep slopes. Power not an issue but not enough weight for traction. The one I have with tractor tread tires does a little better than the one with lawn tires but if I were working on steep slopes I would opt for something with tracks on it. Too much snow. I have two lean-too that I have to shovel a couple times a year and don't want to add another roof to the list. It wouldn't be the first shelter of that sort that has succumbed to the weight of snow and gravity up in these parts. It wouldn't even be a challenge for the snow load with those 30-36" support spans for the roof!
Good point. Didnt think of that. We got a monster storm here in 2013 with three feet of snow and it cuased a lot of things like that to collapse. Greenhouse right down the street from us was a victim too.
