We called a guy at work rodeo
Because he ate three of the rodeo burgers
At lunch and then shortly after we didn't see him for 5 hour's
He spent those 5 hour's in a porta potty in the 98* heat of summer on blacktop
He then climbed into the back of a work truck to die
Boss took him to the ER for severe food poisoning
    He lost 8 pound's.

Pretty much sums it up for me too. Every time I’d eat a whopper there would be regret right after. It just isn’t good food.

For a quick burger, we stop at Five Guys. But that isn’t very frequent. Rather make our own anymore.

Nobody (that I know) can afford 5 Guys very often either!

I think the same thing, it’s almost $10.00 to have lunch anywhere. I can make it for a lot less.

They are pricing themselves out of the market for a lot of folks. $15.00/ hour is starting wages now.

And the salt they put on the fries will make you thirsty for a week!

I have never gotten warm food at a BK, and I've visited them in several states. For that reason, I don't think I've gone to one since the 80's or 90's. I also dislike their ads as they seem so creepy to me.

I had to drive down to a little town in north Texas a few years back for business. Was super excited to try Whataburger as I'd been told by some Texans that it was the beesknees prior. This is approximately how my meal went...

I know this place is sacred ground in the Lone Star State, but dang...honestly...prefer a burger from Sonic and that's not saying a lot. Perhaps was location? Frozen beef patties and so-so fries. Jack in the Box was a much better first time experience.

Have not eaten at the King since 2017 I think? A couple years ago I was reading that their beef is 40% fat. Oof! Most of the usual suspects when it comes to getting your food from a window all went downhill starting when they decided to change their french fries. BK & Wendy's had the same fries for the first 30 years of my life. I don't even consider either to be actual food at this point.

Culver's is about the best by me. BK in town has very good food but I think 2 old lady's are the only workers and once you get stuck in the drive through your in for a looong wait !

We used to have two BK's in my town (Kent, Ohio) the one directly across from the University closed about 18 months ago. That's the one I thought had more business. I guess that's why I'm not a franchise owner.

    mph the just suck.

they have pallets of taters in 50# bags all over the front.

the shoestring the potatoes the day they are going to use them it seems.

take raw potatoes and just toss them into a fryer that likely has cold oil in it.

I’d rather eat fries from Burger King.

They are light-years ahead of what BK ever was.
