Sure does! I’m just not motivated by that kinda stuff. Has the opposite effect on me. Makes me want to port another saw or buy my wife a bigger suv.

I love the sound of a ported saw. I just love it. If I ever have to go electric, it NEEDS to have a loudspeaker that plays ported saw sounds. Problem is, the battery would get used up just making the sounds, lol.

 

Yeah, I just don't see future generations putting amps on electric saws to make the motor sounds louder!
They'll never know what they are missing!

 

Have no fear. That's not happening. When I'm to old or broken to start my smallest saw, the XS2511, I'll most likely not care about trees falling on the property. No battery saw for me. I see the appeal in certain situations but I like a gas saw.

 

Besides, how can you have mix oil and ratio "discussions" without a gas saw to feed.....

 

It'll be best battery/charger discussions!
