54/68 cloudy, we got some much needed rain last night, thank the Lord!

Planning to deliver a load of cedar cants this morning, then maybe some more sawdust production this afternoon.

Also gotta make a Craigslist ad for this little milk pirate....

Good morning! 63F and sunny. Gotta refill the roadside stand after work and probably do some splitting. Cutting is on the agenda for tomorrow along with mowing and trimming. Have a God day!

 

Morning all. Overcast and rain for most of the day.
About once a month, our school district has Professional Development Days. There are never too many workshops for secretaries so we usually use the day to catch up on ongoing projects such as report cards. Today I am joining a group to go and visit an ancestral homeland for one of the Indigenous groups that live in our area. The trip is by boat and will be mostly outdoor activities. Guess what! After a week of really nice weather, we have rain today. Not a heavy downpour but one of those soft soaking rains that gets into everything. campinspecter and I used to anchor out in this area when we had the sailboat. I haven't been back to this place for over 12 yrs. I don't expect it will have changed much. It does have a neat lagoon with a tidal access which we explored with a dingy many years ago. I will try to get some pictures if the weather dries up at all.

T.Jeff Veal the RV on the property sounds like a great idea so each of you have some separate time. As with everything these days, it takes a bit of time and money to set something like that up.
Sawdust Man love the colours of the cedar lumber. Our cedar doesn't look like that.

Dennis, I'm glad you got some done! Some every day sounds workable. I've started thinking about smaller splits, I'm not sure how I'll like some of the 23" oak pieces that are 6" around.

Seems to be a sunny day here. Spending the morning primping and preening, pageantry begins before lunch time. Some of my family is here, his groomsmen are all awesome Godly young men.

Nice thing about Ohio, I'm told they have Osage Orange here. Been scouting a little, looking at downed and cut up wood for scraps. Fauna here is much the same as CT.

Good morning. The 10 day forecast looks favorable, so some of the tomatoes are going in today!

 

Morning all. Heavy overcast and forecast of rain. My trip yesterday got cancelled due to rough water conditions so I came home and worked on my library project. I got a lot done so it wasn't a wasted day. Nice warm and dry office to work in.

All of us have lost loved ones that died believing in Jesus. When all of us alive who have been "changed in a twinkling of an eye" join the dead who have been resurrected from the graves on that bright and glorious day that Jesus returns for us, arrive in Heaven together, it will be a joyous family reunion. To see Jesus face to face will be the most wonderous experience.

‘[God] will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:4

It was a beautiful, and a little of a sad day today.
Sca Jr is all hitched and moving his dear bride in with him.
But my dad heart is a little sad. 2 prophetic words were given to us when he was born. As Mary held the words spoken over Jesus when He was born, pondering them in my heart, so have I these.
That he is our little ray of sunshine.
And "that is my heart running around out there".

Both very true.

For those of the praying bent, I covet those as Mrs. Sirchopsalot and I have a new beginning, and a 10 hour ride home to begin working that out.
