    Kiddo could use some prayers and cheering up, she's in the hospital since this morning and likely a for couple more days til her lungs work better. WWW just took over the night shift. We were in the ER all day (admitted, but all beds are full), pretty open aired we could hear some unsettling/scary things from behind our curtain doors, tough on a little girl beyond being sick and first time in the hospital.

    Kiddo is still there. Blew at tire at 70 mph (cruise control exactly at the speed limit) on the way to the hospital this morning. Tow truck, then husband taxied me to be with her today. Praying she gets better and can be released tomorrow, I can't imagine how this feels for her. 2 families she schools with their kids visited her tonight :) Sweet soul and healthy body, bike rides and soccer practice last week and boom.

    Could someone remind me what this means? ER room copay (guessing $500-$1000?) + $1600 and insurance does the rest?

    IIRC, the out of pocket is if we exceed like $400K?

    So glad Kiddo is home now. May JESUS continue to heal her lungs. Hope she has no lasting effects from the hospital stay.
    Our son when he was a older teen, had a lung collapse. Ot really traumatized him, he hates going to the Dr and about freaks if they say hospital...

    Then $1,600 deductible
    Then insurance pays 75% and you pay 25% until your family exceeds $18,200 and then insurance covers it

    get an itemized bill as they like to throw 100 ibuprofen in there
