Im out and about today and while driving i get a whiff of smoke...someones still burning a wood fire. Cool day here so its probable. A couple miles down the road im still smelling it and finally realized at a red light the vehicle in front of me is a food truck as i observed the smoke emulating from his smoke stack! Dont know what he was burning but it smelled heavenly. Made me hungry as i didnt have lunch yet. Managed to snap a couple quick pics.
I sold 5 bundles today. It sure made me miss the winter firewood cash flow. Low 40’s for a couple more nights before the gates of hell finally crack open. I occasionally work near a restaurant that smells like bacon. They don’t serve breakfast, so it must be for the burgers and diet salads.
Bacon in a diet salad??? My kinda diet! I hear you on the wood sales. Only bundle sales now and slow at best.
The kind where your buddy says I’m on a diet and orders a salad with grilled chicken, bacon and cheese covered in ranch.

I wouldn't think that would be beneficial to smoking wood. I could be wrong but my owb is a gasification unit and you can't see any smoke at all when it's in mid cycle. Yard has a different smell all winter than a typical fire.
Guy at the end of my street I went to school with worked for them and he had the truck parked in his driveway. Sadly he was found dead in his house about a year ago.
