At some point, drivers forgot how to merge and think that having a blinker one (when it is used) gives them the rite of way. Very poor driving skills.

Got nearly 5 inches of rain. Lost our power during the night. Very high winds (60mph) Lots of flooding, road washout, trees and wires down. We are OK. Took down tall trees that were near the house. Also have ground drains around the foundation. That and we are on the side of a hill all helps keeps us dry and safe. We do have a large oak in the front yard, but it is a leaner. It grew up next to a big pine, (now gone). Leans away from the house but will take out the power lines if it ever tips over. Kennebec river is flooded. Some roads are washed out. All the ditch drains are working overtime. More rain is forecasted but only an inch. Ground is so saturated that anything now will run off.
Making an EXTREME budget kitchen table out of scrap 4*4’s and scrap Baltic Burch plywood today. I’m gonna use some old door hinges to make a fold up section on one side too. It’s an odd size for somebody in an odd sized apartment kitchen. I’m a little surprised the old craftsman table saw didn’t kick back tip over and knock my teeth in while ripping down the 4*4s. That’s about all that saw could handled she’s a bit tuckered out these days…
Not too shabby for a pile of scrap lumber ! Some sanding edging for the plywood and staining it should look halfway decent.
Still extremely weak.. No appetite. Been giving her Activia yogurt for probiotics, and 20g boost for protein. Long road ahead.
