    I've only seen the it like this once in 15 years. This is a tributary of a 30,000 ac natural lake that supplies drinking water to the largest population in the state. The only treatment it gets is UV light as a precaution.
    Witnessing this "bog or heath" during this type of flooding has given me appreciation of the purpose of what I'd previously call a swamp.:thumbs:
    In the lake itself, you can see as far as the light can make it below the surface.

    Yep! A company called Bevy’s bought out Tipsy’s recently. But it’s always been my go to, when I’m in the city. I stock up there before heading home. Their prices are a lot more affordable than mountain prices. The mountain liquor stores cater to tourist$. Too rich for my blood.
