Calling for rain 9 out of the next 10 days, :singingintherain:. Probably have a fire tonight to take dampness out of the air. Too much needs done outside to be rained out for so many days.

We have a similar forecast. There is a spot on my lawn I want to grade and replant. Looks like now is the time.

Oak shorts and uglies today...no fire overnight, so a good one now to take the chill off. Prolly run it for a while.
Hitting the wood score today, before it rains all day tomorrow.

That many days overcast starts getting old. As long as it doesn't freeze or frost overnight I can deal. I went nuts with the garden. I think I'd have to run a sprinkler all night to save it if it does dip.

Drizzling day here. Dropped to 39 overnight; 40 now.

Forecasted for snow this weekend. 1/2 foot of the chit. Just to make things a bit more messy!

Cold, rainy day at work today. Started raining after lunch so that certainly didn't help warm me up haha. Came home and set the hastings on level 2 and got the fisher going in the basement with a little help from piney #1. Warming my bones up in front of the hastings at the moment :shiver:.

33/66. Furnace is lit once again.

Yesterday, after the morning walk, I lit the NC 30 in the basement and pretty much kept it going all day. A nice toasty 71 downstairs made a little TV time nicer!

That sure is a great wood stove; thanks Mike Holton.....where ever you are!

39 this AM and forecast to be in the 30's overnight the next 3 or 4 nights. Certainly keeping the stove running. Coffee and a very brief look at the morning news. Not a terrible way to start the day!

55 and no fire until tonight, then it looks like I'll keep it going for several days. Calling for wet weather and chance of snow then on Tues.

Well, here we are again. Winter.

At least 6" of heart attack snow has coated everything. I had to get a ladder to sweep off the tv satellite dish and it looks like 7" on the roof. the snow is wind driven and is sticking to the sides of everything facing north in addition to the ground. Power has blinked a few times already today.

32/68. I think there'll be another fire in the NC 30 today (instead of the furnace....in case the power drops)

Temps in the 50's to 60's at night. Stopped our burning a week ago. The Wife has declared Winter to be over! Had a crew come in for a major spring cleaning of the house day before yesterday. Everything fresh and clean now! :)
