Yes, it's hard to see though. It's tucked up between the radiator support and front of the fender on the passenger side. I'll snap a picture next time we work on it.

My dad's. He's had the 'Cuda since I was a kid, so at least 30 years. Helped him replace some shop lights this morning and he had them pulled out. I need to run over and pressure wash the front of the shop for him.

Awesome Rides. Been a Road Runner guy but in 1980 or so, got a pretty good Challenger RT when most were pretty worn down. Sitting out in the shop now.
Even back in the day, 'Cudas were hard to find and catch for sale. Challengers seemed so much mor common as E bodies running around.

My "sleeper" Diplomat. I bought this car off eBay for $300, put an intake and carb on it and used it as a winter beater/bowling league night car for years until the front pump seal blew out in the transmission.

Now it's a 410 stroker (360), 727/3.55 sure grip, rebuilt suspension, new rear springs, restored the interior to factory except all the cop stuff that was too beat up (B pillars from the cage etc), put a home paint job on it with leftover W1 Chrysler paint I had laying around and gave it another chance to live. I do wish I would have welded up all of the holes from antennas and light bars but wanted to keep them for some odd reason at the time I can't remember now.

Your car made me think of this.
This is one of many old police cars that a retired officer has here in town. He has quite the collection of them.[IMG]

I love that body style too, those '75-'76 Coronets and Fury's with the round headlights are much rarer, especially a 440 car.

I have a '77 Monaco 440 police package car similar to that but with the square headlights. I'm slowly gathering NOS parts for it to do a full restoration after I get some other stuff out of the way.

That is a sleeper for sure. Other than the sound who would know.

That ol diplomat is the definition of a sleeper. I like the Power Wagon in the last picture.
