    Morning all. Heavy overcast with a prospect of rain. Temps are warmer though 7 C/45 F. Without my glasses I thought it said 1 C when I got up but there was no frost on the ground.

    Peter, James, John and the rest of the disciples stood bewildered and awestruck as Jesus ascended towards heaven and disappeared into a cloud of angels. As they were feeling lost and bereft, the two angels who stayed behind, had a very comforting message. Oh what a wonderful sight when Jesus returns to take us home to heaven; those who believe in him and have their faith in him. What a glorious day that will be.

    11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” Acts 1: 11

    Good morning all. Our GTG is now history and everybody gone so our little place is once again quiet. It definitely was not as warm as last week but was still good most of the time. Yes, we did get a little rain but very little. More like a nusance rain and for the 4 days I doubt if we got 1/4" total. Sadly we didn't get much sunshine but did have some. It was cold this morning but other nights were in the 40's. The party was a little smaller than past years but still good. It broke up sooner than other years as many left for home last night.

    But, we made it through another one and I'm back on the forum.

    Morning all. Heavy overcast with a promise of rain happening. We are heading over to Mom's to move firewood and get ready for the community cleanup. I am sure I can find a few things to put out to be picked up.

    Backwoods Savage thanks for posting all the pictures especially the group one. It is amazing the work a group of people can get done in a short time.

    Really amazing when you consider we cut the neighbor's wood supply for next winter and it took 1 1/2 hour to cut, split and stack it. Also, he has an outdoor wood boiler so burns a good deal of wood.

    Good Morning... :coffee: ... clicked my shoes twice yesterday morning and arrived back in Kansas... :whistle: ... Got up fairly early and made some decent time through till St. Louis... From St. Louis to KC on Sunday afternoon for a interstate is 3 and some change hours of intercity traffic... its crazy to know the amount of traffic I-70 carries and only 2 lanes east and 2 lanes west...

    Morning errbody. I slept 10 hours playing catch up from Denny's GTG. I'm also 0.2 pounds lighter than when I arrived at the GTG and that is proof miracles are real. :rofl: :lol:

    Good morning! 42F and partly sunny. Woke up to a dusting of snow this morning. Found most of my loose stacks empty in the roadside stand this morning so somebody must have gotten up early. I'll refill everything tonight and make bundles as well. I'll try to work some splitting in if time allows. Have a God day!
