Today my dear friend and firewood partner, Lefty, was laid to rest at Omaha National Cemetary with full military honors. One of his dear friends made one last gift for him that I would like to share. He owns a sawmill and the love he put into this gift just glows in the craftmanship. The first picture is with Bunny, Lefty's wife and Dan who made the urn.

I miss you dear friend and thank you Dan for his gift.

Well this is interesting, I seem to have misplaced my main cc. And no, I do't think it was stolen, but I could have left it or dropped it somewhere. I physically used it Thursday at the local drug store so will have to drop by today and see if I left it there. If not, then I will have to have the cc company close that account and start a new one. That would suck as I have it attached to so many on-line accounts. The card hasn't been used since my last known purchase, so I could have set it down somewhere in my house . It is just the right color to blend into almost any darkish surface - and I have those in spades around here.

Meanwhile, until I know one way or another, I've locked the card.

The drugstore doesn't have it so I cancelled my card. Now it is a 5-7 day wait until I get my new one. That sux as it is my cash back card that I use for everything. Now I have to use my backup card which gives me Holiday Inn points (which I never use)

My wife was going nuts looking for her reading glasses. Tearing the house apart.

I took them off the top of her head and handed them to her.

I’ve done the same thing, but I hang them from my tshirt collar. So she’ll take them off the collar and ask if these would help.

LOL, bet it will show up soon now since you canceled that one. Atleast that's how it works for me. The worst was I found it minutes after cancelling it, had fallen out of my back pocket in the laundry basket

Speed reading will come in handy for high school and college/university for kiddo. I thought I was a fast reader until I took a speed reading course. What a difference.

That is what I figured too. But it hasn't shown up yet. Doesn't mean I won't find it before the replacement gets here though.

Let a friend hunt turkeys yesterday and he took one home. One down, 100 to go.

This is a great idea wildwest the amount of books removed from
High school curriculum is shocking… no animal farm, no of mice and men; grapes of wrath … nothing
