Mine is turning out to be 36' or 38' long, 6 wide and 6.5 tall. Covering had to be from the top, not from the ground. I like the larger volume in a slightly larger footprint. Stack looks good LP!!
At a couple gtg’s I’ve seen guys make/carve pumpkins from rounds. Bout time I try it. it's pumpkin time!!
Just did a clean up since all the chestnut oak is split. I will say… this chit has always made a terrible mess. In the truck, in the splitting area, in my basement when I throw it down there. Had a trailer full! I won’t complain much though, it is free.
Great night for that. Found the first tick of the year, crawling up Roscoe's leg. Tiny one. This is the part I do not like. Calling for 90 tomorrow.
High about 80 for here tomorrow then rain and cool is back. I've had ticks show up on my arms after working in the garden but not on our dog. We use Nexguard and I usually treat the back yard where they may come up from the pasture.
I’m going to wait to stack all this wood till after I move next seasons wood into the basement. Next winter will be burning the monster oak that ended up being 5 cords in one tree. Rain let up a little today but calling for up to 1.5” tomorrow. I took the day off and did pretty much nothing.
I was close to convincing myself do nothing today. Went a men's breakfast at church, got home and thought about going cutting but decided I would be slip sliding. Took a little nap, then said, " self" get your backside out and accomplish something.
I got two loads from the Yard tree score yesterday, pulled a cord home. Had to wear raingear. Took a break, and then stacked. It was ra8ning then too, just not too hard. Nice to see piles growing!
I was able to get a little cutting in yesterday morning along with moving some wood before the rain rolled in. Then around 2, the sun came out and I was able to clean up the saw chips from the lawn.
