It's our main street. I think 2, maybe 3, cars drove down that road in 3 hours and one was my buddy coming home. You guys live in a way different place than I do. I'm in a tiny rural town of 250 people, on a good year, in a part of Kansas that most people cuss, when they have to go through it. We have 2500 people in our county that is 1100 sq miles. We aren't as............regulated, for lack of a better word........as you folks back east, or any populated area, for that matter. It's just different living out here. Which is why I like it out here, and I grew up here. We are a pretty tight knit community. We don't even have a jail, or a town cop. Lol All that said, it was literally in the street for about 2 minutes. I stopped long enough for a picture and hacked it up and had it onto the side of the road in a couple minutes. The road was swept up and completely clear within a few minutes.
Whenever people say "How can you live out there, there's nothing there!" Or some variation of that statement. I always respond, "The best part of living out here, is people don't understand living out here." We will never have to worry about being flooded with people moving out of other states. Lol We're so small, we don't even have a stoplight. Nebraska is our brother from another mother. Lol
We got some room for the good folks out there. Just be ready to give up some convenience. The nearest Wal-Mart is about 50 miles away. Lol
Haha the reason Amazon is doing such great business is no one on the east coast wants to walk into a Walmart anymore LOL. I can’t remember the last time I was that desperate
I can't blame ya. I haven't been to a Wal-Mart in 15 years. Lol Most folks vapor lock if one isn't within 10 minutes. If I can't find what I'm looking for in our county, or a neighboring county, I'll order online.

We have 2 Walmarts within driving distance. One is on the outskirts of our largest urban area. The employees suck, the customers look like they crawled out from under a rock and are obnoxious. The other is about 10 minutes farther away in the opposite direction in a rural area. Employees are nice, clean, and helpful. Customers are typical country folks. We use the latter.
I love it when people ask that! I also always laughed at my sister, who turned into a city lady. She hated driving an Interstate highway because she there was nothing to see. Well, I guess it depends upon what you want to see.
Lol Not for me, but for a lot it definitely is! Way too many people in those places for me. I like our small town stores, that I can walk a couple blocks to. That's convenient for me.
