You have a great setup man! It really makes me a bit envious. Hard to replicate hand splitting, but still. Round stack, splitter, trailer, split stack, done.

I don't know if it could get any better than that.

Totally unrelated, but I really like your fence. That's slick, I like it.

So about 1.5 hours but I'm lolly-gagging, peeling bark when I can etc. Temps are coming up so I won’t be doing this all day. Firing up the smoker here in a few.

How about you Jason? Busy this week? Bring the tractor and trailer. Got some mounds of splits to move to stacking from "few buck$" score. Only problem is there's nothing to stack them on...yet. I have a buidl coming up. Basically making an 8'x20' pallet for stacking then building a roof over it. Kinda like what Eric Wanderweg did.

You're still more than welcome to come by!

I’m once again out of room for splits too buZZsaw BRAD. Still plenty more to split.

Was thinking about this. If I move next seasons wood into the basement, that hole will be perfect spot to fill in, so I may do that.
I don’t think I want to go the whole way to the tree. Blocks off access for mowing.

Very nice set-up and stacks, Jason.
If ya covered it with wood, ya wouldn't have to mow...:thumbs:
I know, my hunny has declared the front yard off limits for logs too...:(:(:(

We dodged the showers that have come thru and been able to split some pecan after work the past couple nights. 0415232051.jpg 0415232246_HDR.jpg

    87.5’ long.

Height varies a little. The end here is 6’ tall 2 wide, then about 14-16” single row on top.

Plenty of room for 4-6 more 75’ stacks :stacker:
and still have mowing strips in between.
