Old man was not impressed last night with the temperature diving, snow falling and skating conditions.
The chitzese (pekitzu) (think pikachu) decided I needed to take a rest from prepping the yard etc. we call them “the monsters”. Tisha is on my shin with a yellow collar. Named after Morticia Addams. Lily is in my lap with the orange collar. She’s named after Lily Munster. hence…”the monsters”… we got them when they were 7 weeks old and they are litter sisters too. If you’ve ever gotten litter siblings, this is THE only way to have two dogs. They keep each other entertained, reasonably out of trouble and where you find one, you’ll find the other. they play like this about 6 hours a day. https://youtube.com/shorts/_m2_OK4avQ0?feature=share otherwise, they are sleeping
Meet Hazel she’s nearly 2yo choc lab and we picked her up on Friday from the lost dogs home. She was rescued from a backyard breeder and has already had a litter. She has fitted in beautifully with our family and our pets especially Max our 4yo staffy. We had our other staffy put down around 6 months ago she was 14 and we finally thought time to give some love to another doggy.
For the record she loves being at the woodyard. But she’s never more than 15’ from me. We have coyotes here. Eventually I’ll get a couple Anatolian Shepherds to be her bodyguard.
They are the best. pebbles is the same way. Never more than eye sight away. the monsters won’t nap unless in your lap. Which is always.
