I heard peepers last night; haven’t had stove burning since Friday; 40s- 60s girls were not home and dogs like it cooler

La Crosse, WI got to 90 today and we broke a high temp record of 81 that was set back in 1931. Looks like we will break another record tomorrow before cooling off into the 50's and 60's for the start of next week.

Still 80F at 8:30pm on April 12th. I guess spring finally arrived for a couple days. Now it’s summer already. 90 F for the highs the last two days. Crazy hot for this early. No fire for well over a week. I think I’m done burning for the season

It's Nebraska so don't go putting the stove away just yet, but yes, looking like me might be done for the season.

Still a ways to go. All of the rooves are finally bare as of yesterday evening.

Ice has melted a bit along the shoreline. Monday was the last day for ice fisherman/snowmobiles/orvs that I saw or the ice

Yep probably a good thing you didn’t. I’m out of town for the weekend, but just talked to the wife and she said it was a bit chilly in the house

Still burning since the August start last year, have burned north of 25 cords not sure how close to 27. The good news is the snow is waist deep I have sled riding left to do before mosquito season. 8CE61088-CE70-49FA-9C43-394859B2C03D.png
